Refund & Return Policy

At Oriental Ego, we want you to love your purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

Change of Mind Returns

  • We gladly accept returns for change of mind within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be:

    • Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition

    • With all original tags and packaging

  • Return shipping costs will be covered by us

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, but we can provide a store credit or exchange.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if the item is:

  • Faulty or defective

  • Not as described or doesn’t match the sample shown

  • Sent in error

If you believe your item is faulty or incorrect, please contact us at contact@orientalego.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order with your order number and photos of the issue.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method.

  • Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Sale Items

  • Sale or discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind.

  • Faulty sale items are still covered under the Australian Consumer Law.

How to Return an Item

  1. Email us at contact@orientalego.com.au with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We’ll provide return instructions.

  3. Send the item back to us in original condition.

  4. Once received and inspected, we’ll process your store credit, exchange, or refund as applicable.

How to Submit a Return Request

You can request a return directly through our online store.

Step 1: Log in to your account

  1. Click the profile icon in the store’s menu (or visit our Returns Page).

  2. In the Email field, enter your email address and click Continue.

  3. Check your email inbox for a message from us containing a six-digit verification code.

  4. Enter the verification code on our website to log in.

Step 2: Request your return

  1. Click Request return next to the order you’d like to return.

  2. If your order has multiple items, select the items you want to send back.

  3. Choose a return reason from the list and add a note (optional).

  4. Click Request return.

Step 3: Return approval & shipping

  • If your return is approved, you’ll receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label.

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund (or store credit/exchange, depending on our Refund Policy).
